CURRENT MISSION

Life's too short, and my hobbies are too expensive!

* Due to the trend of increasing expectations and high demands, I feel the need to clarify what I will provide.
I will provide a free place to crash (likely a bed with sheets and blankets), conversation, and information. Please do not demand anything else. Please do not ask, "When's breakfast?" I do not feel the need to provide any food or drink; please bring your own. If we're having a meal and you're here, I will most definitely invite you to join us. But please don't expect it. Please provide your own transportation (especially if you need to get somewhere while I'm typically asleep). To show that you understand and accept these terms, please include in your request, "I will not eat you out of house and home."

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Georgia, USA but I haven't lived there in over twenty years. I've been in Bozeman, MT five years now. There seems to be an endless supply of hikes, rocks to climb, and people to meet.

PHILOSOPHY

I try my best to enjoy life. To me, that includes being outside as much as possible and treating everyone with kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mainly host travelers, but I love it! I enjoy meeting new people and hopefully help them have a great vacation.
And everyone I've hosted so far has been so much fun to meet!!
And the one time I've been able to surf, I felt right at home even though I was on the other side of the world.

兴趣

I like to hike, mountain bike, rock climb, backpack, ride horses, ski (downhill and cross country) and western swing dance. But I have too many hobbies to be proficient at any of them. But if I'm outside, I'm happy!

Before I had kids, I traveled a lot. My only claim to fame is that I have visited all 50 states in the US! I love to travel and I like supporting other travelers by providing a place to stay and offering some insider information about the area.
