PHILOSOPHY

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Right now I don't have a couch to offer, but I try to travel whenever I get the chance and am always up for coffee or a drink

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch-surfed several times, and have had such good experiences with incredible people (now I know I love Berlin's nightlife, Italy's food, and Ireland's folk songs thanks to a few of the people I've been fortunate enough to meet). Isn't is a beautiful thing to feel welcome in another country and share experiences with other couchsurfers (rhetorical question)? :)

Intereses

I'm interested in photography, film, music, and art. I'm really just a very curious person.

Books include Invisible Man, One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest, Brave New World, A Walk in the Woods, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Daughter of Fortune, On the Road, the Alchemist, A Very Long Engagement.... mostly anything written by Paulo Coehlo and Jack Kerouac...

As for music, I listen to all genres, but here are a few of my favorite artist/groups in no specific order: the XX, Erykah Badu, Aretha Franklin, Notorious B.I.G., La Roux, Otis Redding, Alicia Keys, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Massive Attack, Janelle Monae, Neko Case... and of course Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald...

As for movies, anything that is quirky like Amelie or clever like any Alfred Hitchcock classic.

TV shows I enjoy would include 30 Rock, Community, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, and Law & Order SVU...
