关于我
Hello, I'm Julieta, I'm 21 and I'm from México. Sorry if my english is bad, you must know my native language is spanish. I'm actually studying for just a semester in Spain, where I'm living with 3 other mexican girls; we love to share very looong coversations about nothing and everything and waste time laughing about silly things. I'm studying hispanic letters and literature, wich means that I love my language, but actually all language in general, because I find very interesting to learn about the different ways to say the same thing; I find very interesting how humans get to communicate with others. I also, as a literature student, love to read, mostly XIX century novels, so, if someone want to talk about books I would happily join the conversation, even if I don't know the book, is always nice to discover a title to read later.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I'm very excited to travel and go to new places, because I haven't been in Europe before. I think that there is no one better to show a place and a culture than a person who has been living there at least for a while. I find very interesting to exchange experiences, couchsurfing offer that oportunity and the oportunity to learn about language and culture of the place.

音乐、电影和书籍
You might find this very silly, but I really love Taylor Swift; I know everything they say about her and that her music isn't the best, but I like her since I was 13, what can I say. But Taylor Swift isn't the only kind of music I like, I mostly like music in english, my favorite artists and bands are Michael Bublé, John Mayer, Oasis, U2, Jack Savoretti; I also like music in spanish, like Alejandro Sanz or Fernando Delgadillo (is a mexican singer who sings his poetry) and others.
About books. I love XIX cetury novels, so my top 3 would be "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen, "Tale of two cities" by Charles Dickens and "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas. When it's about mexican literature, I like José Emilio Pacheco, is very easy to read but, to me, clever at the same time.
I'm not too into movies, I mean, I always enjoy to watch a movie, but I actually know nothing about movies or art movies.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
One thing I've done is to take courage enough to take a plane and travel to Spain to live by my own and get new experinces.
教,学,和分享
It's not that I can actually teach, but I love to share what I know about language, literature and music, because I studied violin for four years and I'm planning to return to it when I come back to México.
