About Me

Hi! I’m Julieta, an architect from Argentina. I’m spending this year working and experiencing life in different cultures. Right now I’m living in Zernez, Switzerland, working at a hotel for the summer season. I’d love to explore more of the country (and Europe) and hopefully meet new people and make some friends along the way.

I speak Spanish (native), English, and intermediate Italian. Always happy to share good conversation, stories, and maybe even some Argentine food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love the idea of connecting with people through travel. It’s not just about finding a place to stay, but about sharing cultures, stories, and making meaningful connections. I think it’s a beautiful way to explore the world through the eyes of locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie music, but I enjoy almost every genre. Some of my favorites are The Strokes, Sticky Fingers, Rels B, Catriel & Paco Amoroso. I also like Imagine Dragons, The Weeknd, Robbie Williams, and Maroon 5. For parties, I’m into tech-house—and I’m also a DJ :)

When it comes to books, I enjoy inspirational reads like “The Secret” or “If You Believe It, You Create It”, but I also love a good novel from time to time.

As for movies, I’m always up for the classics, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Shrek. No matter how old I get, there’s nothing better than a good laugh to clear your mind!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling solo across Europe and connecting with people from different cultures has been an amazing experience. Leaving my comfort zone, moving to a new country, and building a life from scratch has challenged me in the best ways and helped me grow a lot!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Spanish, share Argentine recipes (like empanadas!), or talk about architecture and design.
I’d love to share good conversation, music, meals, or a walk around town.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good energy, respectful company, and a bit of my culture. I’m always happy to help around the house, cook something from Argentina, or simply enjoy a nice chat.
