About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn to be always present where I am.
ABOUT ME
I am from Brazil I was raised in a French school in Sao Paulo. Lived in Buenos Aires in 1993, did an exchange program when I was 15 in Australia in 1997. I moved to the US for Uni 2001-2005. I lived in Holland for a year. Went to the UK where I lived from 2006 till 2011.
I studied among other things anthropology, cognition and politics.
I am passionate about seeing different places and meeting people from different cultures. I enjoy dancing, playing music, and I have been practicing yoga since I was very young.
I quit my Phd in 2011, my research was with Palestinians and Israelis. I kept both peoples as my friends but I quit my Phd to really see the world.
Have enormous respect for all of those I have met. In spatial to Tibetans who never seize to remind me the importance of patience and compassion. Fundamental values for life and journeys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted and I have been hosted around the world. I try to participate in CS events in the town I live, and even in the ones I am visiting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I trully believe CS is great. It not only allows one to learn other ways to see the world. To visit a place and see what locals think but also to encounter other travellers with the same existencial quests. I have been living abroad for many years, and even when I come home for a visit I go to the CS website to search for fellow travellers. Once we start crossing borders something happens inside and you can only find a silent understanding with others who have gone through the same process.
It also augments my faith in humanity. Travelling, hosting, surfing... is overwhelmingly profound. Not only you get to realize how many altruistic good people are out there, but it makes you want to be a more social, more helpful human being.
