About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore, learn, teach, be

ABOUT ME

I live in a vibrant co-op in Oakland, California called the Unicorn Castle-a community full of artists, musicians, burners, and all-around silly, loving humans. This will be my 8th year at Burning Man (that can give you a few clues about who I am).

I've got a B.A. in Cognitive Science and an M.A. in East-West Psychology. I'm currently in trainings to be a shamanic healer and Hakomi therapist. I also recently started doing professional cuddling!

I LOVE to travel and discover no places/cultures. I try to learn the local language wherever I go, which has a big jumble of foreign words in my head. But, luckily the jumble tends to stick to one language while I'm in that country.

I am outgoing and excited to explore everything the world has to offer. I enjoy going to cool events, finding the weird/fun/unique sides of anywhere I go, cuddling, playing music, cooking, dancing while wearing crazy costumes, and much much more.

I am a non smoker, and a go-with-the-flow-er. I can stay in and play board games or I can go clubbing. Either way, I'll be happy.

PHILOSOPHY

Rejoice in the journey.

Before you act, think, what if EVERYONE did this?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel that I must act as I would want a guest to act in my home. I clean up after myself and always offer a helping hand- whether it's with cleaning, cooking, or feeding your animals. I love learning about other cultures and sharing mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just finished living in a small, primitive Haitian village for three months. I was teaching English.
White water rafted rivers in Nepal.
Went on a camel safari in Rajastan.
Ate pigeon in Egypt.

Teach, Learn, Share

As we grow old, our neurons subscribe more and more to the 'Use it or lose it' philosophy. If you continue to think critically and analyze throughout your whole life, your mental capacities will better remain intact.

Also, the contraction for "mwen" (which means "I" in Haitian Creole) is just the sound "mm".

What I Can Share with Hosts

My warmth, my kindness, and my stories. I also love to cook and would be excited to cook you a delicious meal!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Canada, Egypt, Haiti, India, Israel, Mexico, Nepal, Saint Lucia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
