About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the world better. I want to work in a Western African Country after having finished my studies. there are so ma\ny babies dying as I had to experience during my stay in Togo. As a gynecologist I could try to teach the nurses maybe.
ABOUT ME
I just finished my studies and now work as a medical docotor at Heidelberg University Hospital. After some months of work I can state contentetly that this job is very fulfilling. I mostly work with adolescents and kids and get the feeling of doing a good job and always beeing in contact with new and interesting people whom i can help to have at least a little bit better future. I am quite idealistic and might think of also working abroad one day, for example as a doctor in conflict areas, to also enable people of medical care who live in badly staffed and moneyed areas of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Live is too amazing to get rid of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like experiencing the world by really being to different places. Staying with local residents is much more real than staying in a hotel. i dont want to be a tourist, I am more interested in the differnces between the people living in different parts of the world and their way of dealing with problems, their philosophies of live.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I dont have any experience with CS yet. but i have already travelled around in Africa and slept in foreigners homes. The persons in the small villages dont have any access to the internet, thats why i didnt use CS.
Interests
I am interested in travelling, writing, photographing, discussing, ...evrything that helps me understand and explore the large world a little bit further.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I have ever seen were all the inhabitants of small villages in Togo. they seemed to be fine with what they had. they were always laughing and friendly to each other.
I prefer this way of living.
Teach, Learn, Share
Right now I am trying to get to know more languages. I have already upgraded my French by doing a medical internship in western Africa. At the moment I am in England. And maybe after that I will be going to a South American country to improve my Spanish. I am especially interested in Argentina and Chile. Hopefully I will travel there next february and complete another internship, journalistic or medical.
