Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Juliette. I'm a 22 year-old journalism student, soon to start my final university year in Brussels. I am passionate about travelling, meeting new cultures and discovering new places, and capturing it all on my camera. When I'm not travelling, I am happily at home, taking care of my (ever growing collection of) plants and sometimes going out to dance some rock'n'roll.
My room is filled with mismatched decoration pieces I've either stolen from my grand-parents or brought for past trips. The more raw and vintage looking, the better.
Finally, to finance my many concert and travel tickets (they are numerous) I work in a restaurant as a kitchen helper! Starters and deserts have no more secrets for me, and I think I might have made my own weight in chocolate mousse by now!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had the opportunity to travel to a bunch of countries over the past few years and with that, to experience some pretty amazing things. I wanted to share some activities I've done in these countries, but I guess the last really amazing thing I did, was travelling in India for a month to shoot for my Master's thesis. As a journalism student, we have to realise a 26 minute-long documentary on any subject we chose. My team and I decided to fly to Northern India to meet the Tibetan people who have lived there in exile for the last 60 years. We wanted to meet young Tibetans who were either born in Tibet and moved to India, or born in India without ever going to their home country, and see how they balance their culture and traditions along with the modern society. During that month, we had the amazing opportunity of filming and photographing His Holiness the Dalai Lama during the celebration of his 84th birthday! An experience I'll never forget.
