Hey there!! My name is Juliette and I'm a California native currently living/ working/ traveling in Central Asia. I've always had a huge love for languages and cultures and would be honored to get to know more about your own stories. I'm pretty laid back and always down for an adventure, so you name the time and place and I'll be there :).
Some fun facts about me: I was a professional yoyo champion (long retired but it is my go-to party trick!), will have travelled to 30 countries by the end of 2024, have lived long term in places like Germany, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia, incredibly passionate about study abroad and access to education.

Because you only get one life, and I think it's important to spend some portion of that seeing the amazing places of this world and people we call our neighbors. As much as I love reading books, I don't believe that that is always a substitute for a true adventure abroad or for genuine human connection, so I seek that out and want to push myself to fulfill this. My time abroad has been what it was thanks to the wonderful people I've met along the way and I way to repay that forward :)

Pretty open to all types of music and books, but I have a soft spot in my heart for pop music (in any language, just got to be able to groove to it!) and I love a good adventure or cheesy romance novel. My current favorite artists are Hozier, The Last Dinner Party, and Chappell Roan. I don't want many movies but would love to hear about your recommendations!

Travelled rural Mongolia working to help recruit students to receive scholarships to further their education in the US! I even met a Mongolian nomad who let me ride his horse. Probably the best day of my life.
