About Me
ABOUT ME
In 2013 I graduated from Pomona College (Claremont, CA) with a degree in Studio Art, and decided I wanted to see a bit more of the world... So I became an au pair in Zürich for a year. After I finished that job, I traveled around Europe and worked in Scotland at an arts organization for a little while. I currently work for a ceramic residency center on the coast of Maine.
I am originally from Madison, WI, and as much as I love the midwest, I have found I love traveling... I will enthusiastically walk around a city all day, and enjoy stumbling upon delightful little coffee shops or quirky art spaces. Seeing a place on foot is the best way to travel. I love hearing about other people's passions, and learning about the things that other people love. I am down for any kind of adventure, although I get particularly excited about anything art or food related.
PHILOSOPHY
"A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures for anything" (Irish proverb)
Surround yourself with good people, and never stop learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived abroad and traveled throughout Europe, I surfed with others. I hope to continue traveling and courchsurfing when I have the opportunity, and now that I have a home of my own, I look forward to welcoming others into my home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in the US on a cross country road trip (Oklahoma City, OK and Santa Fe, NM), and also quite an assortment of places in Europe now. I've met some lovely people!!
