About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To prove that this sentence is wrong: "Les Francais, c'est comme le camembert, ca voyage mal." Which means: that french people are like Cambembert : they travel badly :)
ABOUT ME
All about me? ... it's gonna be way too long, so to make it short, meet me and you'll know me better!
PHILOSOPHY
- Sharing is caring!
- An eye for an eye is making the world blind!
- I can resist anything but temptation!
- Smiling can increase your face value!
Isn't it the perfect mix?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By meeting and exchanging. By hosting and being hosted. You learn from the others and they learn from you, this is how you evolve.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted many time during my travels and it has been wonderful experiences!
I havent been active on the couch surfing network since 2018 (babies and covid did not help) but i still find this community to be the essence of what humanity has in its best!
You meet someone, you share their universe for a few days and you end up with a travel 1000 times better than if you go in hotels!
I've also hosted lots of people in France and everytime, it has been a pleasure to chat and share opinions and cultures!
Interests
Number one: Travels - discoveries and experiences.
I love when people tell me about their country and travels, it makes me want to go there as well... So now i end up with a huge list of places to visit that keeps getting longer and longer!
My next travel plan is to buy a van in Vancouver and drive up north the Dempster highway until Inuvik, on the other side of the polar circle...
I have twin girls : Jade and Charlotte aged 3 ans they are now one of my top interest centre... its so tiering but also so interesting to watch them grow. They bring me so many emotions from hanger to bursting in laughter.
I love cooking and testing dishes from around the world. I enjoy trying strange things like dried-silk-worms in Vietnam (not good) ! I have been végétarian for 5 years and now i dont eat a lot of meat but i compensate with cheese (smelly ones) and wine !
As i'm a primary teacher, i also enjoy talking about education and how it build up the next generations. I have specialised in teaching for disabled children. They teach me as much as i teach them.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are several movies i like but it's hard to define a specific genre. 2 movies i liked are: "Vas, Vis et Deviens" and "The Tree".
Also, as i have a particuliar sense of humor, i love Woody Allen's films and since New Zealand, i'm a real fan of 'Flight of the Conchords'. The dumber the funier.
I like (almost) all kind of musics : Bob dylan and Moriarty being on my top list. But what i love is discovering new singers and groups.
I read a lot... I can eat a book in a few days if i have the time !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Give birth to 2 baby girls in the same time ... Twins power yeah !!!
Saw a sun set over the Indian ocean from a plane, an amazing feeling: a mix between ultimate freedom, beauty and fear...
Saw 250 wild parrots at 5am in the morning by a river in Amazonia. Beatiful mother nature!
