MY COUCHSURFING PHILOSOPHY
Hi guys!
I am workawaying my way through Corona, in Norway! I have lived for 1 year in Norway now : 8 months on a sailboat with a non-profit, and 4 months in a sled dog kennel.
I am going back on the boat for the summer, but before that, I'll pass by Oslo for a dozen days in order to take a norwegian test. If I get it, I'll go to the university in Alta and Svalbard to study friluftslivand arctic guiding :D
So far, I have not met so many people from Oslo, as I lived in remote places, so I am very curious to meet you guys!
I am a big fond of couchsurfing : I have hosted around 40 people during one month, then five workawayers, and it has been awesome! I met some amazing people, made really good friends, and I loved so much those concepts that I decided I would try to meet as many people as possible through workaway and couchsurfing.
As a former host, I know how challenging it can be to invite someone from a totally different culture, while you have to keep going with your daily tasks, so I'll do my best to be the best couchsurfer I can. I get on well with everyone, I like to laugh, discover random stuff, speak with people, and I'm easily entertained.
I (very originally) love meeting new people. I especially love it when people have a very peculiar interest (like ancient tapestry in southern Groenland or similar vibe interest), or are passionate about something, whether I know about it or not.
I am focusing on trying to improve both my Norwegian Bokmål, and I'd be happy to practice this language with you!
CURRENT MISSION
This is getting way too close to my current existential crisis for me to answer this question
ABOUT ME
Not everyone understands my jokes.
PHILOSOPHY
Please make these questions stop
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest I started couchsurfing because I was a broke student travelling to Switzerland. That was (omg) 9 years ago.... I discovered how amazing the concept was, and I tried to participate as much as possible!
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My main experience with couchsurfing has been hosting. During september-october 2019, I had over 30 people coming o my place, and it was awesome. Now, I'm planning on couchsurfing to meet as many people as possible!
Interests
Anything you're passionate about to discuss for hours.
I'd be particularly interested if you have experience with the north of the north!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : Since my little brother makes electro musique (electro house mostly), and I love it. I also love discovering new music (the weirder, the better). I also like traditionnal musics in general, and french songs.
Reads : Anything in Norwegian (currently Karius og Baktus, please don't judge 😂)
Movies : Anything in Norwegian (currently all the Shrek because they're in Norwegian and they're on Netflix!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A tournament in Bali where I played with my Malay rugby team.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a French, I can tell you about my country, about Paris and its history. I got a lot into cooking, so I can prepare french dishes for you :)
About what I'd like to learn, basically everything; anyone passioned by something is contagious.
My big focus now is norwegian!
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Malaysia, Norway, United Kingdom
