HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new on Couch Surfing, even if hosting people home is nevertheless my philiosophie of Life since I have my own place. I love making people discover Lyon and the area (Ardèche, Alps, Provence...) as much as I can. I am not always aware of historical details but I am very interested. I like to discover new things in my own city, thanks to people who come to visit it... But if you have no Idea about what to do in Lyon, be sure I'll find some... good bar, good restaurant, good concert, good walk, cheap and simple. I am not always available because of all my activities (job, family and friends take me a lot of time and I love that!). But even when I am busy, my door is open and my couch will be as comfortable as possible for you. I always find the time to (try) to cook something for my guests. It is a delicious moment to share : the time you cook, and the time you eat... and drink, of course. I am fond of cooking my French grandma style dishes, very typical and rustic French food... Or couscous receipe from my Algerian grandma. OK. I love to eat but not only. Of course I enjoy to taste fine Wine, you come in France for that too, no? Anyway, you come for what you want, you are welcome!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I can't criticize David Lynch, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarrantino. I like everything that they create.
I listen to every music, especially Rock, Reggea and Electro. Depending on my mood (of course). Just for the anecdote: When I was 17, I went to Portishead (UK) for a pilgrim during my first backpack trip in Scottland & UK. I think it is my favorite band. Was. When I was a teenager with a favorite band...

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

During my first back packer trip with my cousin, we were 17 yrs old. We traveled trough UK and Scotland to reach Sandwood Bay, splendid place! The first day, we missed the bus that must take us from London to Endinburgh. First night in a London park at 17, nice experience, but nothing. The day after, we take the first bus, "head in the ass" as we say in French, very tired after this outdoor night. So we fall asleep in the bus in 3 minutes. After 2hrs driving, the driver stops in a Highway area and says something in the microphone but we did not understand very well English at this time. So we go to the toilettes, very far from the bus in this big big Highway area. We came back and... No bus, no backpacks anymore!! "What do 17 years old Franch children on an England Highway?" The guy who took us in his truck asked us... And, driving his big truck, he explained us how far we were from our destination, and called the Bus Company to give them hell. It was the very beginning of Cellular phones, hopefully he had one. Finally, he reached the bus driver and ordered him to stop at the next motorway service area. So, he saved us... Since then, I know that the best during travels are the "bad lucks", cause you always come out, laughing!
Another great experience, totally different, is in Costa-Rica. We were on this paradise Beach on Pacific, swimming in delicious hot water at 8 in the evening, when a whale started to jump and jump during on the horizon during maybe 30 minutes! She didn't stop playing in water with her tail! It was splendid! The day after, we went fishing from a boat. While a friend was trying to extract a hudge fish from the ocean, dolphins came to play around the boat, as well as tortles, Rays, and a baby whale on the horizon. This trip in Costa Rica was Amazing!!
