ABOUT ME

I've been caught in the enriching monotony of school for the past five years and just finished my Bachelors in Archaeology. I am doing a field school for Greece, digging up ancient Mycenaean artifacts before continuing onto a long awaited and much needed adventure.

I'm very easy going. I relish the novel and can't wait to explore the world. I've never really traveled anywhere, my life has been very much enveloped with school for quite a long while - I'm looking to stretch my legs, broaden my horizons, and meet new and awesome people.

I am courteous and friendly (funny sometimes even - not intentionally or anything) and clean. Not super weird..Relatively, anyways.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't yet. But I can tell tolerable and slightly dirty jokes, and can cook a mostly edible meal for my hosts, as well as geek out over various pop culture genres with you - I'm not sure if this counts as participation but it's something.

None insofar. Hoping to change that.

I have too many interests.

Academically I am interested in material culture (Artifacts) as well as mortuary contexts and human remains (osteology), not to mention archaeological evidence of sexuality and sexual practice in the ancient world.

In my spare time (Haven't had much lately) I read, binge watch netflix or movies, or read a book. I like road trips and new adventures, good food/drink/people. I'm not a partier (big crowds make me anxious) but like to enjoy the sweeter side of life. I'd rather hike to a waterfall in a redwood forest or camp on a hidden beach then go to a club or bar (though they can be fun too).

I also can play guitar and piano and like to sing, though I never do it in public.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

As stated previously, my speciality is in anthropology and archaeology. I am well versed in history and in mythology. I can geek out about culture, books, movies and TV, among other things. I also have lots of weird interesting facts. For instance, blue whales have testicles that literally weigh 1 ton.
