Overview
About Me
I'm an artist and documentary filmmaker. Recently I've gotten into surfing and freediving and exploring underwater photography.
I hope to cultivate a love and security within myself so I can then bring that to the world. I love having philosophical discussions about art, history, the meaning of life. Ya know, just the fluffy stuff. I love cats, cooking, dancing, and being outside.
I currently live in Portland, Maine but have lived in Paris, France, Vermont, Austin Texas and Nantucket Island.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was filming a documentary about ethical chocolate in Nicaragua. I was on a cacao farm in the hills of Matagalpa trying 13 different bars of chocolate made from the beans of this farm - with the farmers themselves. They were able to identify from the taste of the chocolate what batch of their beans it was ("oh this one must have been the batch that sat in the harbor for a week. A little too fermented"). I have since traveled to Cuba, Hawaii, Switzerland and India - all working on this series of ethical chocolate.
Teach, Learn, Share
i've worked in catering and baking for years, and love to cook! i can talk for hours about culture, travel, and anthropological theory. i can teach people ceramics, or how to make excellent muffins! I know a little bit about edible wild plants, but want to know more. i also want to learn anything and everything. i dont know hardly anything about economics or politics.
What I Can Share with Hosts
