ABOUT ME

I like to meet other people and I am very interested in other cultures and ideas. The last seven years I have been in the Philippines as a volunteer, to help people and communities. Nowadays I run our own NGO: World Experience Philippines, one thing we do is: we are an mediate between international volunteers and filipino NGOs, to exchange knowledge, ideas and energy. I definitely love Asia, and especially the Philippines. I have learned so much from the filipinos. Especially back to basics, learn how to live, day by day and enjoy life the fullest. I hope I will be able to for a while.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Share and exchange ideas, making new friends all around the world, spend quality time. Try to get more CS-ers involved. Try to meet CS-groups. Offered my Human Resource experiences for the CS-community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing is amazing. I love it! Until now I had so many good experiences. All our hosts and new CS-friends and family were so hospitable and nice. With most of them I still keep in touch. I have seen countries through the eyes of the locals. I would never ever wanted to have missed that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen, done and experienced a lot (if I can say so), for me the things I remember and love are most of the time interactions with people. I stayed in a house with 19 former street children in the Philippines, couldn't understand the language and culture differences. After 9 months it was still confusing sometimes and a challenge.

Teach to find your own passion. My job usted to be reflecting and to be a mirror for others. Through questions people can find themselves again or it makes them feel more connected.

I am interested in learning in general. We learn every day and I enjoy it. I like to learn especially about other cultures, to share ideas and understand differences and similarities.
