Hello you ! I am a French student living and working in Glasgow at the moment, and looking forward to improve my accent and fluency in English by meeting new people. I am easy going and open-minded, cheerful, curious and I love sharing a glass of wine and a long conversation with friends. I am also passionate about the literature, culture and history of the British isles and I want to travel around and learn more about all the different places of the area.

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to discover new places by meeting the people who live there, and because I want to make great aquaintances and beautiful memories.

Interests

My favourite hobbie is drawing and I love to do landscapes as well as life drawing. More generally, I think that anything can be interesting if one is in the mood, so when I'm asked about my interests, my first reaction is : "eeeeuuuuuuuh..."

I'm a fan of singers like Cesaria Evora, Nina Simone. And I like hip hop and French rap.
My favourite directors are Emir Kusturica, Jim Jarmush, Cédric Klapisch.
I love British sitcoms like 'Blackbooks'.
And the most amazing books I've read recently were 'The Book of the Night Women' by Marlon James, and 'Reservation Blues' by Sherman Alexie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a French assistant, so I work everyday to help pupils between 10 and 16 learn French and this job made me realise that teaching a foreign language is a fascinating work. If you want to practice your French or get some basics in French, I can help you !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Though I like listening to music, unfortunately I am not a good singer and I don't play any instruments. But I can make up for this by cooking you some nice French food ! or give you a nice drawing as a souvenir !
