About Me

I'm a dancer who recently started studying physiotherapy, trying to combine art and science. Interested in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, travel and love learning new languages! Also love the outdoors and people who dare to live life on their terms!

Interests

Would love to travel to Bali, Phillipines, Cambodia, Laos, Japan, Cuba, New Zealand and Australia. To begin with.

Because of injuries and my body and mind being out of balance, I wasn't getting full potential out of my training in dance, for some reason it was not helping me to become stronger in what I was doing. I felt I had to tailor my training more to my body and personal needs. This is how I got interested in in human anatomy, physiology, and generally how to make training more efficient. Which is why I started studying physiotherapy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm, currently reading 'What doesn't kill you' by Scott Carney and 'Better than before' by Gretchen Rubin.

The first one's about how humans have 'lost' their evolutionary strength and how we can reawaken it. The second one is about how habits are formed, and how they shape our lives. Both very, very interesting! I'm always looking to question the status quo, which is why I enjoy these books, I think?

Oh, I love Xavier Rudd, Walk off the Earth, Jason Mraz, just generally acoustic guitar!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say, book a plane ticket a couple of hours before I left! It felt more badass at the moment itself than it sounds as I am writing this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm easygoing and open to meet new people and hear their stories. I respect personal space and I'm always game to hang out, try new things, live new experiences, but also love just spending time by myself. I'm pretty independent and will probably have some kind of idea what I'm looking to do when traveling, although I keep my mind and soul open to whatever might come along on my way!
