I'm a freelance illustrator and also work parttime as a social worker in a thriftshop. Love being busy and happiest with paint on my hands and listening to podcasts or music.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In 2010 a friend of mine from the UK came over and stayed at my place for about a month. During that time we also travelled to The Netherlands and France, where we were hosted by two couchsurfers. They showed us around the hidden alleys of Lyon and taught us everything we wanted to know about Lego. Being welcomed into the houses of total strangers felt so great! Then in 2012 we both decided to go on an interrail trip, joined by another friend of ours. Awesome people hosted us in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Berlin. I'm so grateful for them and they made our trip a hundred times better than if we would've stayed at hostels. They showed us around their cities, told us about the secret hidden places, shared their houses and provided us with wonderful conversations, company and meals. When I'm not travelling myself I like to pay it forward and host people in our house.

Seeing Palais Idéal in real life, going into a secret labyrinth in Berlin, Sneaking into Spreepark, going to Sedlec Ossuary, seeing the paintings of Klimt and Bosch in Vienna, teaching an illustration class in Moscow, celebrating Holi in India, travelling around and making friends all over the world

I can cook a nice vegan meal, teach you a bunch of artistic things, bore you to death with facts about The Cure and I can tell you a lot of creepy stories because I listen to true crime podcasts a lot. If I'm not working at home and you're an artist, feel free to use my studio. I have a lot of drawing materials, a big desk, a sewing machine and an etching press! We don't have a television but we have tons of books and zines.
