ABOUT ME

A curious new traveller living in Paris. Tripping around for a weekend or a week at a time before its's time to be back in the city. I like to draw. I like learning french. I need nature as much as I need the rich layers of human existence in the cities. Strike a balance between novelty and security. Stillness and rushing excitement. Lately its all rushing, to work, to make dinner for friends, to play volleyball, to get there to do this or that. I gotta say I've been missing the flow lately...that thing I feel go click click click...I think it's time for an adventure to remind me how to feel the joy of the flow, if you know what I mean.

I've been unofficially hosting and surfing for a long time. Friends of friends of friends have stayed on many of my couches and vice versa. I love the open window into local worlds. I look forward to hosting and surfing more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. I especially love to hear it live, play it (even though I don't really know how) I've been affected at different times by many different types of music...different vibrations matched my vibrations at the time. Right now, I'm not listening to anything. I need a break from the city and all the sounds, music included. Same for movies and books lately. Just the Artists way by Julia Cameron.
