Overview
About Me
This might sound like a CV text template, but I am really constantly trying to work on my personal improvement and to create (not find) the best possible version of myself. I realized that one way of doing it is by sharing life experiences, stories and moments with lots of different people. So I decided to start travelling alone, thus meeting people of other nationalities, cultures and with different background stories I am always eager to hear. It was the best decision I've ever made for sure!
I'm usually a better listener than a talker (although I really like to talk) and what makes me beyond happy is learning new things and facts!
Among my friends, I am the one known for being cheerful, goofy and always smiling.
Meeting new people is like a therapy for me and I am always in for grabbing a beer/coffee, spending time in nature, chilling or partying, just open for everything, anytime.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I very much appreciate when someone willingly decides to share their everyday life with me, their space, their time, their food, their family and friends' company by hosting me. Kind of restores my faith in humanity. I love making international friends, speaking foreign languages, trying to descyphre the cultural differences and finding the similarities.
Ultimately, I realised that when I host someone, I feel like I am traveling myself, just by listening to all kinds of stories and adventures from different kinds of people... I love making them feel warm, welcome and comfortable in my own home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any type of music that moves me, makes me feel something. The 60s and 70s rock is my heart and my soul, but I also love soul, funk, indie rock, flamenco, traditional music of my country...
I am a big Spanish literature lover (mostly Spanish postwar realism). Some of my favourite books are "Nada" by Carmen Laforet, "El Camino" by Miguel Delibes, Jack Kerouak's "On the Road", "California Blues" by Mika Oklopdzic (Serbian writer whose work was inspired by the beat generation) ... anything that has to do with real life and existencialism mostly
Same for the movies I watch, I prefer non-fiction, real life events... I do not like SF, fantasy, horrors or stuff like that (although there are a few exceptions). One of my favorite movies are: Stand by me, Central do Brasil, Cría Cuervos, Paris Texas, Princess Mononoke, 12 angry men, Amores perros, Ladri di biciclette, Searching for Sugar man, Network, Time of the gypsies, and the list goes on...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've never lived in Amazon with jaguars nor drank coffee with Sentineleses, but I truly believe that every single experience out of one's comfort zone is something incredible and worth admiring!
