Hey, I am Julija and I am 20 years old. I live in Slovenia in small village near Ljubljana. I love traveling and exploring nature. I graduated from high school and now I study biology and pedagogy.

I don’t live in Ljubljana, but in countryside about 15km away and you can use public transport to my village.
I live with my family and dog. I can host only women.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm in foreign country I always enjoy meeting some locals, to maybe see a country also from other perspective and get some new experiences. It's so nice to have some international friends and when they come to my country It's always a pleasure to show them around.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to pop and sometimes rock. I really enjoy listening to some older bands like Abba, Beatles, Queen... But I also like now days artists like Ashe, Måneskin and some not so famous but cool slovenian bands. I am open to every kind of music and I like to explore and listen different kind of songs :)
I watch different types of movies, when I watch them with friends I always like musicals and romantic comedy. When I'm alone I also like movies to cry. I always enjoy animated movies from Disney and Pixar. Some of my favourite movies are Forrest Gump, Where the Crawdads Sing, Mamma mia, La la land, Spirit, Rapunzel and Coco.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some cooking and baking. I can share with you different stories from traveling and hiking. And my passion is nature, I know different edible plants and would love to teach you them or any other things you wander about nature (I'm probably going to be a biology teacher so that will be a good practice for me; ) I'm also scouting so I can show you how to make a fire, orient yourself with compass and other things that are useful in nature.
