I hosted one young couple in my apartment when i was living in Rio de Janeiro and enjoyed a lot the experience.
Meet new people, make new friends, learn different stuffs..
Now I'm planing travel around the world and the app is exactly what i was looking for.
There's no better way to real know some place than have direct contact with local people.
