About Me
Hi my dearest profile visitor!
This is Julio, a young Spanish that has been hopping around Europe for the last five years and a half. Since November 2013 I live in Germany where I am doing my PhD in immunology at a pharma company in collaboration with a Uni in London. After almost three years I have noticed that big corporations are not my thing and I plan to get back home where I hope to have a more society-oriented career. That was long, eh? Wait, it goes on...
What else? I am always on the move. With friends, or travelling, or working, or simply enjoying or doing sports. I love cycling. I have a beautiful cross bike that I use both as a road bike and as a touring bike –basically I travel on that thing and I try to get as far as I can (currently planning a 2000km ride back to Spain!). I also like to do rock-climbing. I am generally curious about the world and about exploring the boundaries. When I plan a trip I either do it with the idea of being shocked, or with the idea of pushing a limit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that there is a common denominator underlying 90% of CSers: their open set of mind and the willing to know new people and places and to do unconventional stuff. I normally enjoy this people and connect with them well -actually most of my friends in Germany are CSers.

Books: Berlin Alexanderplatz, El pintor de batallas, Fiesta (The sun also rises), Norwegian Wood (...)
Movies: Moon, Gravity, Pulp Fiction, Midnight in Paris.
Music: rigth now I am listening Mr Bubbles, from the Ruminaters. I generally like any kind of music (folk, 60s, 70s rock, indie) as long as it is not too comercial.
