About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see the world and learn different cultures.... find out how other people see the world to better shape mine

ABOUT ME

I am a project coordinator in Northeast Tanzania. I recently graduated from Science of Natural and Environmental Systems; I am passionate on landscape approach development. I love to travel and meet people. When I travel, I usually end up seeking thrills like skydiving, bungee jumping, cage diving, etc... I also seek local foods and trying a new culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed in a few couches but have yet to host and this is something I would like to start doing, hit me up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed two nights with a couchsurfer in Cape Town, South Africa with a travelling buddy. I had a great time and our host was incredibly helpful! Couchsurfed in Brazil during carnival, got to meet great people and enjoy one of the best events on Earth!

Interests

I spend time in the outdoors. Kayaking, cycling, playing soccer and basketball. I read quite a bit and like to keep myself informed of what happends in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all kinds depending on my mood. From classical to rock, ska, reggae. Manu Chau, Panteon Rococco, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Moondog style of music. I mainly read non-fictional books on economics, sociology, and nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think, cage diving with great white sharks was the coolest experience I have had in my life! There are no words to explain what you feel when you see such an amazing creature eye to eye at a distance you can almost reach out to. Skydiving is up there too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned a lot about sustainable agriculture, ways to use economics to incentivize possitive change, and I study ways to minimize the impacts of agriculture on natural resources. I've picked up some stories while traveling all over South Africa and the Amazon as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, France, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania

Countries I’ve Lived In
