ABOUT ME

Olá! Tenho 24 anos, sou formado em Economia e atualmente estou fazendo meu doutorado em História aqui em São Paulo. Morei um tempo na Alemanha, em Frankfurt, onde conheci o Couchsurfing. Gosto muito (muito mesmo) de cinema e de literatura, sou músico nas horas vagas (toquei em algumas bandas) e curto viajar num esquema antigo (ou antiquado mesmo...), sem pressa, não apenas indo de um ponto pra outro, mas tentando sacar qual que é a de cada lugar de eu conheço. Acho que todas as coisas e lugares podem te tocar de alguma maneira. Tento aplicar essa minha visão de mundo não só nas viagens que faço, mas também nos livros que leio, nos filmes que vejo e com as pessoas que conheço: acho que o melhor da vida não vai sair estampado num cartão postal ou num souvenir da lojinha.

Hello! I'm a 24 year-old student. I did my bachelor on economics and I'm in the middle of my PhD in History here in Sao Paulo. I've also lived a couple of months in Germany, where I met Couchsurfing. I really really like cinema and literature, I'm a musician in my spare time (I've played in a couple of bands in here) and I like travelling in old fashion way, not simply going from one place to another, but understanding the greatness of it, the unexplainable touch of new things. That doesn´t go only for trips, but for books and films and the people you meet: the very best part of it won´t be captured in a post card or a cheap touristic souvenir.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Moro com três amigos numa República na Vila Madalena em São Paulo. Temos uma sala grande e um sofá para acomodar uma pessoa por aqui por alguns dias. Quem quiser aparecer para conhecer São Paulo, tomar uma cerveja, um café ou fazer algum programa cultural na vai encontrar gente muito disposta e muita facilidade de locomoção. Moramos perto do metrô e com bom acesso à Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

I'm living with three friends in Vila Madalena, west-side of Sao Paulo. We have a big room with a sofa for someone who wants to stay a couple of days in the city. If you're up for a bier, a coffee or some cultural programme here in Sao Paulo, then you've come to the right place: we are always up for this things and there isn't lack of buses and subway going around here. Its also relatively near the University of Sao Paulo (USP).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hospedei-me algumas vezes com couch-surfers quando morei na Alemanha, em 2009 e também conheci muita gente que fazia isso por lá. Até o momento todas as minhas experiências foram excelente, e eu ainda converso com todos que conheci por aqui. Até agora também não hospedei ninguém (já recebi alguns pedidos mas, infelizmente, foi quando eu não estava em casa!).

I've couch surfed a few times when I was living in Germany, in 2009 and I've also met lots of people who were doing it too. Till now, the experience has been wonderful and I keep talking with all the guys I've meet surfing through Europe. I have recieved a couple of requests but, unfortunatelly all of them came when I wasn't here, soo, I'm still waiting to host people!
