About Me

Hey ya,

my name is Julian, I'm 29 years old and from Berlin, Germany. I am a very open person who is into a lot of beautiful things e.g. playing soccer, surfing, reading, meeting up with friends, playing the gutiar, singing, painting, dancing and more :)). I love to travel and to meet up with new people sharing stories, experiences and get to know new cultures. I love cooking (food in general is awesome! :)) and I enjoy deep conversations about life and all its meanings, myths and morals. Talking to new people is always an opportunity to open up your horizon and see that there is many ways to make that journey of life work out :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that when you've been crashing on someones couch and you barely knew that person, you are so grateful that you wanna give that back to someone else. That's why I think that Couchsurfing is extraordinary and gives you the possibility to support others as well as being supported by others. Also it is quite likely to find people that share similar spirits here otherwise they probably wouldn’t sign up here in the first place :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music in general. From Pop, Swing, Jazz over Classic to Indie. Some of my favourite bands are Bon Iver, Death Cab for Cutie, Maribou state,The tallest man on earth, Ben Howard and lots more :)
Movies that I like are for example Interstellar, Into the wild, Star Wars (old and new episodes ;)), Memento and many more.
My favourite Book is called the shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I also really like Hermann Hesse and Irwin Yalom for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking around France with one of my best friends was one of the most amazing experiences I've had so far. Being so free and realising that it just needs that little to survive and be happy in life is amazing.
