ABOUT ME

I'm an entrepreneur with a passion for social justice, education, and bicycles!! I'm a first generation immigrant from Medellin Colombia who grew up in Washington DC USA. I got my undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and tried out various career paths before pursuing my MBA at the University of Iowa. I love adventures, bikes, and urban planning that empowers communities.

Professionally: I founded and run a bike taxi company in Ohio called Columbus Pedicab (facebook.com/ColumbusPedicab ), I exported slushie machines to Colombia, and I've worked as an inner city middle school teacher in Miami Florida.

Socially: I love meeting people from completely different backgrounds than my own. I love getting involved in bike stuff. I was a co founder of the Magic city bicycle collective in Miami (a non profit bike shop), I organize underground bike races (The series I started in Medellin Colombia donates all proceeds to charity https://www.facebook.com/groups/377569445674644/ )
