Somos una pareja de físicos recien casados que trabajamos en finanzas. Nos encanta viajar de mochileros y estar en contacto con la naturaleza. Somos muy curiosos y nos encanta conocer diferentes puntos de vista.

We are a couple of physicists recently married who work in finance. We love to travel as backpackers and to be in contact with the nature. We are really curious and love to know different points of view.

Al principio entramos en couchsurfing por ahorrar en hospedaje al viajar, sin embargo después de utilizarlo nos dimos cuenta de que es muchísimo más que eso. Al hospedar te permite viajar sin moverte de tu casa, es decir, puedes escuchar las increíbles historias de los viajeros, aprender de diferentes culturas así como ser más humano y compartir lo poco que tienes con los demás. Y al ser tú el viajero y llegar con alguien más es increíble, después de tantos días de viaje se siente como estar en casa con un amigo. De igual forma permite conocer el lugar que se visita de una manera muy diferente, con la perspectiva de un local no un turista. En verdad creemos, que couchsurfing nos recuerda nuestro lado humano, donde podemos confiar en los demás y vemos la bondad y no sólo la destrucción de este mundo.

At first we enter couchsurfing to save on lodging when traveling, but after using it we realized that it's much more than that. By hosting allows you to travel without leaving your home, ie, you can hear the incredible stories of travelers, learn from different cultures as well as being more humane and share what little you have with others. And when you are the traveller and someone else receives you, after so many days of travel it feels like home with a friend. Similarly it allows to know the place you visit in a very different way, with the perspective of a local not a tourist. Indeed we believe that couchsurfing reminds us of our human side, where we can trust each other and see the goodness and not only the destruction of this world.

Interests

Nos gusta ir al cine, viajar y perder tiempo en internet.
A Julissa le gusta correr, meditar, hacer yoga, escribir, pintar y bailar (en especial salsa, cumbia, bachata y reggeaton).
A Misael le gusta Julissa. Y cocinar, hacer origami, hacer manualidades, comer pizza y tomar cerveza.

We love going to the movies, travelling and losing time on internet.
Julissa loves running, meditate, yoga, writing, painting and dancing (especially salsa, cumbia, bachata and reggeaton).
Misael loves Julissa. And cooking, making origami, doing art craft, eating pizza and drink beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

A Julissa le encantan las películas románticas. Misael odia las películas románticas y le encantan las películas animadas y de acción (con una buena cerveza en la mano). Ambos amamos las pelis de ciencia ficción.
Julissa ama leer libros de ciencia, historia, novelas, literatura, ciencia ficción, etc. A Misael le gusta la idea de leer pero es muy flojo para ello (tomando en cuenta que Juli le cuenta todos los libros y se los arruina). Ambos somos fans de los libros de Harry Potter.
Misael toca la guitarra, le gusta la música alternativa y la trova. Entre sus artistas favoritos están: Silvio Rodriguez, Fernando Delgadillo, Sabina, Muse, Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Beatles, Muse y muchos más. Julissa no es muy fanática de la música, a ella le gusta J. Balvin y Coldplay.

Julissa loves romantic movies. Misael hates romantics movies and loves cartoon and action movies (with a good beer in his hand). We both love sci-fi movies.
Julissa loves books of: science, history, novels, literature, science fiction. And Misael likes the idea of reading but he is too lazy. We both are fans of Harry Potter books.
Misael plays Guitar and likes trova and alternative music like: Silvio Rodriguez, Fernando Delgadillo, Sabina, Muse, Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Beatles, Muse and a lot more. Julissa is not a big fan of music she just likes Coldplay and J. Balvin.

Podemos enseñarte a cocinar comida mexicana, a bailar salsa, a hacer origami, historias de nuestros viajes, así como cuestiones sobre física si es que te interesa. Nos encantaría aprender todo lo que se pueda de ti y con gusto compartiremos experiencias, sonrisas, tiempo y un rico té. Si nos puedes compartir algo de la cocina tradicional de tu país, nos encantaría.

We can teach you how to cook Mexican food, salsa dancing, origami, histories of our travels, and physics if you're interested. We love to learn everything we can from you and will gladly share experiences, smiles, and a delicious tea time. We would love to learn some cooking from your country.
