Hey, my name is Julius and I am an international student studying at NC State University since August 2015. Playing soccer in the fourth league in Germany enabled me to join the NC State Men's Soccer Team and to pursue a degree in the United States of America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard about Couchsurfing of one of my friends who did a road trip in America after high school. He told me that he had a really good time and how awesome it was to get to know different people from all over the world.

I like to travel and discover new places and my fiancé and I are doing a roadtrip this summer 2017. I really appreciate people from all over the world and like to build relationships that I will cherish for my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2015, I left my family and friends in Germany and joined the NC State Men's Soccer team and started studying at NC State University. Especially at the beginning it was challenging to forge a new identity in a new country with a different language. However, I never regretted my decision and I am thankful for all the experiences I have made so far.
