About Me

I am a student of Biology at the University of York and would love to host some charming people both in York and in my beloved home town of Vilnius, Lithuania. I also love to travel, have entertaining conversations, running and all sorts of creative activities. I’ve tried real surfing and I image surfing on couches should be just as pleasurable. Can’t wait to try it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Everyone liked to travel. The idea of living at some local authentic places and having the opportunity to meet crazy, interesting people all at the price of a good conversation sounds almost too good to be true. I’m a young gentleman who loves to travel and has been to many crazy places from Hawaii to Tanzania to Hong Kong, so I feel like I have a cool story or two to tell. I also have many interests in philosophy, science & arts and am willing to bulshit with someone all day long on these subjects.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many many many but for books I’d say the “Silmarilion” and “The Selfish Gene” and for movies maybe Samsara, Waking Life and the first two Matrix movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran around the Savannah inspecting and measuring termite mounds and trying to not get eaten by lions and trampled by girrafes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m quite adept at talking about ecology, evolution and the theory behind brain and dream science. I hold my heritage at a high regard and would love to share some of the history and mithology of the Baltic tribes that lived in the area of Lithuania. I am however only a second year student and will submit that I have much more to learn than to teach, in every manner of subjects.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A joint, a beer and a good story / contemplatory ramble.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Monaco, Slovakia, Spain, Tanzania, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Lithuania, United Kingdom
