About Me

I'm a teacher by profession. Living in Hanoi for almost two years now at a studio-type and fully-furnished apartment. Below is my current state of mind:

16/02/2020
11:11 a.m.

Metaphorically, I am currently dressing the wound I got from an unexpected fall on the rock. I'm dressing this wound second-by-second, minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, day-by-day and so on. It's a painful process to dress this wound, considering that the rock where I hit my inner being was my home. It was a beautiful home despite the typhoons, earthquakes, distances, and waves. It was twice solidified. It became fragile and lost its solid foundation.

The rock was too sharp when I hit myself on it. That's why it's terribly painful. Skin-deep. I have to feel the pain every time I put medicine, for the wound not to be infected. Some days, I'm dressing the wound with kindness, gratefulness, and compassion. I call it self-care and self-love medicine. Other days, I'm dressing the wound with lust, stupidity, loneliness, and toxicity. I call it self-harm medicine. Some days, the healing process progresses from 1% to 5%. Other days, the wound is infected and the healing process deteriorates from 5% to 3%. Nevertheless, I'm not giving up on dressing this wound.

There's no shortcut in dressing this wound. It's gonna take time. At least, some parts are perpetually healed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favourite. Each has its own distinct art and meaning. I'm avoiding discrimination against other music, movies, and books. It's not easy to work in these fields. I would love to explore when I have the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To love and be kind tirelessly-- it could be for myself and others-- and not expecting something in return.

Teach, Learn, Share

Definitely, I would love to share the experiences I got in my 32 years of existence. There are a bunch of it. I'm into a good conversation, especially with coffee, beer, rum-coke, and mojito (sigh! Heaven!). I'll share mine. You share yours. Let's learn from each other.
