I'm Julius and I grew up only knowing two places: the city I was born in and the city my parents were born in. It took a while before I started getting the opportunities to explore other places, and I don't think I will ever stop now.

I like exposing myself to new things and new places. I like trying things out at least once so I can experience something outside my comfort zone, may it be food, sports or whatever. I like being adventurous as well. I am genuinely interested in meeting people as well. One of things that made me enjoy Couchsurfing was how awesome the people here are. I haven't had one bad experience from meeting people here.

I also just switched my profile from "Wants to Meet Up" to "Accepting Guests" so by all means let me know if you want to stay over. I have just moved to a new place which will allow me to host so let's do this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows people to not only have a place to stay, but get immersed in different cultures and lifestyles through interactions with people from all walks of life. It may sound a bit cliche but it is true. I have learned a lot by meeting and talking to people. Probably consumed too many beers while at it too.

It's a really fun way to meet cool people across the globe.

Interests

So many things interest me, but stuff about travelling and films interest me the most. I like outdoor activities as much as I enjoy staying indoors. I guess I just appreciate variety.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Mostly R&B and Hip-hop but I enjoy a little bit of everything.

Books: Hilarious books - Not a very big fan of reading so I enjoy books that make me laugh. Oh and John Grisham books.

Movies: Saving Private Ryan, The Shawshank Redemotion, any David Fincher or Clint Eastwood movie. The list could go on - I enjoy the whole movie experience that much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I asked the driver of the boat we were riding in Vietnam if I could drive it along the river where the floating markets were, and he agreed.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's never too late. I turned 25 and I realized I have not done anything extraordinary. Then I remembered i have the rest of my life to live so I decided to fulfill my goal of travelling across Europe, and I didn't stop there. I am slowly ticking off boxes.

Nobody wins by giving up and everything will work out.
