About Me

Hi, I'm Julius, 19 years oId and from Cologne, Germany. I graduated last year and then did a year as au-pair in Paris, which was really great, because I like children and France, especially the langue and -of course- the food. In France I learned to cook too and now really enjoy doing it in fact.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like to discover new countries, cultures and people couchsurfing seems like the perfect possibility for me to do that and have a lot of fun with other nice and open-minded people!

Music, Movies, and Books

As I play the guitar myself, I like singer/songwriter music best, but I listen to different genres of music in phases really...My favorite artists are Mumford & Sons, Jake Bugg, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and in the winter The National. my favorite song of all time is Tender by Blur I think...

I like to watch tv-shows like scrubs, new girl or modern family more than movies, but I really loved perks of being a wallflower, drive and the two Ted movies, to name a few.

I like Nick Hornby and John Green very much, but I like humorous books books in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an Interrail trip with two friends, which was really nice already. But the greatest thing we did was when we went swimming in the Mediterranean Sea in Barcelona by night with an American guy we met. Afterwards we grabbed a few cold beers, really great evening!
