ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 yr old uni student from the United States (Virginia) currently studying abroad in Wellington, NZ (Victoria University). I study architecture and desperately want to graduate so I can travel some more for a bit and surf (yes, I am that ambitious).

My first and foremost love, thats reciprocated, would be the ocean, and my passion is surfing or any other type of activity that deals w/ the power of the ocean. I'm addicted to that stuff. I love the beach lifestyle.

Unfortunately I live in the cold mountains most of the year so my other passion is music, esp the 60s & 70s, 90s alt rock and hip hop (the good stuff), keeps me sane. If I could I'd start a rock band and just jam out till I keel over...maybe I still can.

Aside from that I'm a sedentary thrill seeker (thanks to architecture). Couch surfing should alleviate that. I'm just getting into climbing and soccer, and I'd like to do some activities that involve jumping off of high places in the near future.

PHILOSOPHY

it changes from philosophy to spirituality, from plato to descartes to buddha to jesus. hmm...music is my philosophy. its what gets me through the day. beatles, bob marley, jack johnson, sublime. i also love nature.

music: uhh...where do i even start. everything!...except mainstream country i guess. im going through a folk phase right now...james taylor, neil young, van morrison.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to draw, watercolor, dance, garden, wrestle, play guitar, maybe blow some harp, surf and snowboard. (not that anyone would wanna learn these things from me). I can also cook you sinigang (traditional filipino dish).
