About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm trying to balance my desire to see as much of the world and make as many experiences as I can within the short time I have on this planet with my education and future career.

ABOUT ME

I am a very honest person-whether that's a good or bad thing depends on the situation. I can be fun and outgoing but I don't mind a nice, quiet day indoors every now and then.

PHILOSOPHY

I know that I only have one life and that it's very short. So I get the most that I can out of it. I believe that I am in control of my future and my happiness, so I make them what I need them to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's so easy to travel the world and never meet anyone, just staying in hotels and wandering around alone. I love meeting new people wherever I go, especially if they can give me an insight into the local culture, and the CS community is made up of some of the best people I could imagine. I would always choose to stay with a couchsurfer over a hotel or hostel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2012 I traveled all across Europe, mostly couchsurfing. I was hooked from the first place I visited and have continued to be a part of the community since then.

Interests

I enjoy exploring places and climbing high things. I'm also an avid ballroom and social dancer. Books and performing arts are also great.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up on Harry Potter so it will always be my #1. I'm also a big fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work, both the originals and the modern adaptations, each in their own way. My probably favorite movie is Cloud Atlas, the book is also amazing in a very different way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived 3 months of riding a scooter through Hanoi

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make almost anything out of wood, how to speak German, how to play piano, and most importantly how to dance with a partner.

I love learning about all kinds of things and my CS hosts have shared with me, from cool drinks to their philosophy on life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories and experience, and of course a helping hand in whatever may need to get done around the house.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
