About Me
ABOUT Julius
Hi :) I'm a 24 year old student of physics. My flatmate and I study at the University of Edinburgh, the city in which I live. It's cold and beautiful, so exactly my kind of place! I always feel more comfortable in northern climates. I'm half Swedish, so that may explain why. I'm also half American.
Like so many others here, I have that thirst to move around and to be in different places, to see the strange sights and hear the strange noises, to walk on alien soil and to breathe in different ways of living. I also love meeting people from around the world and the solidarity and camaraderie one feels among groups of fellow travellers.

None so far. We all have to start somewhere :)
Interests
Chess, reading, video games, films, traveling, physics, nightclubs (if the music is right), hanging out in bars/cafes. I've done a little public speaking and it's certainly something I want to continue. Long walks, especially in nature. I love walking in forests and by rivers. As cheesy as it sounds, good conversation is one of my favourite things in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I like George R R Martin, Khaled Hosseini, Kafka, Kazuro Ishiguro, among others. Those are the ones I've read mostly recently. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak is one of my absolute favorites but unfortunately I haven't gotten into any of his other stuff. Phillip Pullman and J K Rowling were also the authors of the books I grew up with. I think I like historical fiction for the same reason that I like fantasy, as these are stories that can whisk you to faraway times and lands...
