Overview
About Me
In 2015, I left my job, family and hometown for more than a year in order to travel around the world. I will never forget the hospitality and lovely people I have met along the way. Now it's time for me to give back. I live a in a charming town 30 minutes from Montreal with a well-established bus system. I'm a funny guy that has a lot to share about packing your bag sufficiently, travelling with no money, tips for hitchhiking and crazy stories that have happened to me in my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the best way to learn about other cultures, by getting to know the locals. This permits you to discover hidden spots in areas which are otherwise not indicated in travelling books! Couchsurfing to me is a way to share life experiences and to make life-long friends around the world! After my long journey, I realized that I had established a great network of friends around the world, which is really useful!
Interests
It's pretty simple, I like outdoor activities. I can't decline an invitation to climb mountains, go camping or kayaking. I also discovered a passion for sailboats in Hawaii, where I had the chance to sail on Siren, the fastest sailboat of O'ahu island. My dream would be to cross the pacific ocean on a sailboat from Panama to Australia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The longuest trekking I made was the ascension of Mt. Toubkal, highest peak of North Africa, on a 10 day journey across the High Atlas of Morocco. The landscape was incredible, the group was marvellous, it was a blast!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to travel with practically no expenses. I travelled across the United States for two months without spending a single dollar! It's easier than you think!
After six months of trekking in New Zealand, I'm also a good reference on how to sufficiently pack your bags and what to leave behind. You want to travel light!
Plus, I also cook the best marshmallows, and I accept to share my secret.
