I'm a colombian girl living since early 2000 in Mexico City. I love singing, dancing, I like also eating and writing. I'm totally willing to teach any host some good salsa music and perhaps basic salsa dancing steps :p, as well as take to any couchsurfer to visit places in Mexico City :). I am a very familiar person and well, all of this started because I'm hoping to fulfill one of the dreams of my life through a memorable trip to Europe.

Music: I like from colombian cumbia and puerto rican salsa (Héctor Lavoe, Willy Colón) to Kate Walsh, Kings of Convenienve, including Foo Fighters...The only music I don't like is heavy metal...
Movies: I'm a very chick flick fan...also dramas...not really into artistic or horror movies
Books: i read the bible a lot...i also like romantic novels (Jane Austen related), Gabriel García Márquez novels...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I am the lead voice of a band and helped to compose some songs (the guitarrist is the main writer and composer, I must say). I've sang in front of a lot of people without shaking ... :)

I am willing and would like a lot to show people some music and some basic dance moves from latin music (I can tell the difference between salsa, cumbia and merengue...it's important :p)
I can do good Quesadillas...jajaja or srcambled eggs a la mexicana/mexican style :p
I would like to learn how to prepare, if possible, a regular meal or food from the place I'm staying
