ABOUT ME

our years in college may have taught us to be bi/trilingual, discuss politics and philosphy and be well rounded individuals, but unfortunately we did not learn to market, build professional networks, or use excel. thus we make our livings as a la quinta receptionist and glorified babysitter. our story goes way back to our study abroad days in mexico...we sadly still live in these glory days.

PHILOSOPHY

socialism except for when it clashes with our yetti boots and big sunglasses. did someone say longshorts?

knitting poorly, painting even more poorly, reading, hula hoop, writing, studying portuguese, anything latin or in spanish, travel, pondering potential life-long careers and changing our long term goals weekly (not to mention entire value systems...this week secular humanism. postmodernism was so janurary!)

音乐、电影和书籍

cynthia- an in-the-closet-hippy who digs bluegrass and the like, but dabbles in indy to impress people who look through her ipod. foriegn is synonymous with cool for her. she likes movies that are witty and philosophical and books that she can sound good bringing up in deep conversations. Thinks NPR radio automatically makes her smart.
Jamie (the hot one)-- stutters to answer to the fact that punk must eventually be grown out of. Sorry, Jamie. She likes movies that include a lot of teen angst such as The United States of Leland. She knows of books, like if someone has mentioned one, she can picture what the inside might look like.

hitch-hiked in Mexico, which turned into Los Rapidos y Furiosos de Guadalajara, ended badly by a cesspool lake, but we came out unharmed and laughing.
