About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I guess my screen pretty much covers it :-)
ABOUT ME
I like to laugh more than anything. Sharing food and drink with friends comes a close second, and preferably at the same time. Definitively not into judgmental people, so I try to avoid that energy and pattern of thought. Critical thinking and honesty are super important to me too... all that being so, I don't take life to seriously but for me that is a good thing. I'll skip the bio, but I currently work at the Wynn Casino and the Bellagio Casino so can easily provide council to those wishing to wade the lights of the Strip, but also have many great tips about the greater area as well.
PHILOSOPHY
I had a lot of different philosophies when i was younger now i got em all blended together. Current mix (a bit tongue and cheek though!): I am an atheist-catholic, Taoist, nihilist, anarcho-syndicalist, realist, socialist, skeptic, absurdist, secular humanist, libertarian, pacifist. I am not a post modern, fascist, neo-conservative, objectivist, individualist, theist, moral relativist, hedonist, fatalist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am planning on ramping up my travel plans in the next few years so looking forward to hosting as a prelude to that. Getting involved with local CSers as well. I work on the strip and there are so many travlers who pass through yet somehow they are lost in the swell from that vantage point. Basically just wanting to meet and connect with kindred spirits.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently working my way through Disaster Capitalism by Naomi Klein and Money: Whence it Came and where it went.
Have not been that into fiction lately. Favorite magazine is Harpers. Movies...I just can tell you I have seen to many but if you have not seen Man On Wire (documentary) see it immediately! Music from Sleater Kinney to Tom Waits to Miles Davis to Junior Senior.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently went to Burning Man in 2007... a definite WOW!
Drove all over North America on my motorbike when I was younger. Argentina a few years back, fell in love with the place, might try to to move there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I ll be specific here: I can give good advice to Vegas area surfer on how to approach Vegas from tourist perspective, gambling perspective, outdoors perspective, etc. My specific expertise in the gambling arena is poker though. I love talking politics and religion and I dont pull punches in either subject but am respectful and want to learn and have my mind changed, views evolve as well.
