I’m a Bazum artist and love playing the tumbak, singing songs that carry the heart and soul of the Karakoram. In the mountains, we come together and let the music flow—it’s where Bazum truly comes alive. I’m also passionate about trekking and adventure documentaries that explore the high peaks and hidden valleys of the Karakoram. My favorite book, Trekking in the Karakoram, is packed with inspiring stories from K2 Base Camp, Gondogoro La (GGL), Snow Lake, and Nanga Parbat—places that fuel my love for mountains, music, and adventure.”

One amazing thing I’ve done is trek to K2 Base Camp and explore Gondogoro La, Snow Lake, and Nanga Parbat—living close to nature, camping under the stars, and experiencing the heart of the Karakoram.
