Overview
About Me
I'm from Malaysia but currently studying in the UK
Expectations lead to disappointments - what I try to keep in mind
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet the local people and possibly learn more about their lifestyle, culture and food unknown to typical tourists while sharing mine too.
After my first couchsurfing experience, I think the best part about traveling a new city as a tourist is learning things from a local's point of view. You learn so much more about the city, culture and language; the experience is really different and something everyone should try!!
Interests
I enjoy listening to music, watching TV shows/movies, long walks in parks, eating good food and traveling, of course!
I also love pets and experiencing new things
Occasionally I gather enough motivation to workout or go for a run but always up for a game of any sport!!

Music, Movies, and Books
A few bands/artists that are my all-time favourites: 1975, One Republic, Muse, Panic! At the Disco, The Killers, Maroon 5, Coldplay and Marianas Trench.
Off the top of my head, the movies I can think of are Inception, The Shawshank Redemption, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Black Swan.
I'm afraid I have not been reading much anymore but I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteered in Egypt for 6 weeks - sleeping under the stars in the Sinai desert, snorkeling and diving in the red sea and surviving Cairo's underground metro!!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
