About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world! But first goal see every country in Europe. Also, I want to meet the locals of the places I visit in order to get an authentic experience.

My mission while back in the States is to travel around to different parts of my own country, while developing my own business and blog.

ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old. I play chess competitively, love reading, and going to gigs. I feel most at home when I am on the road meeting like-minded travelers. I love writing and sharing my experiences with others. Also, I am really active and always like to keep myself busy whether that is reading a book or going for a hike. My current personal goal is just to live a healthier lifestyle/ even when on the road.

PHILOSOPHY

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. Laughter makes the world a better place.

One fantastic benefit of traveling in cultures that are different to your own is that you can get a new perspective on issues that you didn’t even realize needed to be thought about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I can and go to Couchsurfing meet ups / events regularly. I love to use hangouts everywhere to meet up with travelers and not always do stuff solo.

Sharing experiences with people from other cultures has open my mind to the world around me. Also, I love to try different cuisines of the local place I am at and couchsurfing is a perfect way to do that.

The couchsurfing community is amazing and the people I meet always floor me. Their sense of adventure, stories, and differing perspectives of the world really keep me going.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe very strongly in equality of people and traveling helps me to remember that no matter where we are raised or live, what we look like or what we do, people are really the same and everyone is worth getting to know.

The last few years of traveling Europe, the US, and Canada has shown me the beauty of humanity, nature, and the uniqueness of the experiences of people raised in different cultures.

Interests

I like doing outdoor things like hiking, skiing, volleyball, and walking around. I love seeing live bands and going to festivals and farmers markets. I enjoy history and learning about the places I visit.

Take me to the museum and I could be there for hours.

Show me a good cafe and we could be chatting for hours.

Know a good brewery in your area? I am so down to take a tour or have a tasting.

Craft Beer, Coffee, Museums, Art Scenes, Dancing, sporting match. Am I hipster enough? Just kidding. I am not a hipster, I am well rounded.

My interests are always changing, but when I put my passion into something- I give it my all.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Depends on my mood. I could go for some Country music/Folk music at a BBQ. You could see me bopping to some Electro. I grew up in Florida so I am also a fan of latin dancing or hip hop.

I love classics such as Thomas Hardy and Leo Tolstoy.
But currently I like stuff like How to Stop Time by Matt Haig. I still do love my classics though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to 40 countries and countless cities.
I have driven around the entire country. I have worked in a homeless shelter for my spring break in California. I have been living life and see everyday as a new adventure.

Most recent amazing thing I did. Was Canoe 300 plus kilometers of the Vltava river in Czech Republic.

Most amazing thing I did after that was study abroad at UNI of Edinburgh, move to Budapest, and Ireland.

After that move to Budapest Hungary to work for the UN.

And even more recently the most amazing thing I did was go on a Work Holiday Authorisation in Dublin, Ireland.

It is hard to rank experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning from everyone. I have a range of friends that while we may not have the same personality types like they may be on the quite shy side and I am an extrovert people person we get a long. I think we can all learn something from one another. My friendships have taught me that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my past adventures through Europe and the world. Also I am a chess champion so I will play you a game!

My sense of humor, spontaneity, and coffee.
