Interests

I started singing a few years ago, and playing the guitar more recently. I am the lead singer in a bluegrass & old time band. I also like cooking, and making my own (organic) cosmetics. I like history, traditions, folklore.

My favorite books ? The Prince of Tides, by Pat Conroy, Fried Green Tomatoes by Fanny Flag, The Color Line by Gregory H. Williams, the Harry Potter series, His Dark Materials trilogy, Dan O'Brien, Jane Austen, the Brontë sisters...
Favorite movies : The Straight Story, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Running On Empty, Transamerica, Erin Brockovich, Hope Floats, Georgia Rule... I love road movies and and romantic comedies. I also love David Lynch (my favorite is The Straight Story), Ken Loach (Secrets and Lies, The Angels' Share).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working on a farm in Montana in 2011 for a month, travelling through North Carolina, Tennessee and Colorado in 2018 for three months (still while wwoofing). Meeting the most amazing people along the way. Getting into the Bluegrass and Old Time music communities in Paris and other places. Living and breathing dancing during line dance classes and festivals.

If you're playing an instrument, we can improvise something. I can also teach you line dancing, we can cook together... and I love to chat! I'm willing to learn things from you, I am very open-minded.
