About Me
The best word to describe me would be curious. I am curious about many things in different subjects.
I study Computer Science in college, after a huge jump from majoring in International Business in polytechnic (pre-college). Why did I choose to make such a huge jump? I'll tell you more when we meet =)
Personally, I love travelling and making local friends in the country I travel to. Even better if I can stay with a local and live like a local. But with my current status as a poor undergraduate student, I'm glad that the couchsurfing community exists for me to do what I like when I travel - meeting locals and living like one
In school, I'm an active member of a student club that hosts exchange and international students every semester, bring them around Singapore and introduce them to what they need to know about this little island I live in. Because of my interactions with students coming from all over the world every semester, I know a bit more about Singapore than the average local do and the places recommended from information compiled over the years by many local students who host exchange and international students). Tl;dr, ask me anything about Singapore and I'll be happy to share :)
I did an internship in Shanghai, China and took a gap year all before I turned 20/before college! If you're interested to find out more, I'll share when we meet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
AS A SURFER:
The first time I tried CS was with a friend during my gap year in 2013. We travelled to South Korea and met a lot of amazing hosts (my friend and I set foot on almost all of the provinces in South Korea - 1 city per province). All of them were really nice and I still keep in contact with some of them as I'm writing this in 2015.
The second time I used CS was with my sister in Taiwan where I kind of did another round-Taiwan tour and visited multiple cities and met amazing hosts at every city we had hosts in. Love them to bits, really.
AS A HOST:
As I live with my parents now, it is not convenient to host people at home but I do have hosting experience as my Seoul host kept his promise of visiting Singapore back in 2014 and I brought him around Singapore and made him try 30 local delicacies in a day HAHAA! So fun.
My sister and I also hosted a backpacker from Amsterdam as she was travelling through Singapore all by herself and we brought her around on her first night here so that her trip was as efficient as possible (meaning, she visited must-go places, all without Google - I think that's the greatest power of having a local friend/host).
Ultimately, one of my dreams/goal in the future is to become a REAL couchsurfing host (meaning, letting surfers stay at my house instead of only bringing them around). That's something I'll work towards when I finish college!

Music, Movies, and Books
FILM: INTERSTELLAR!!!
I can't think of anything else right now but there are other movies that I like.
MUSIC: Ranges from English, Chinese, Korean, from mainstream pop to EDM to slightly indie to movie soundtracks/instrumentals
BOOKS: The Little Prince? Wish I read more books but I think I have a fear of long walls of text
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched Interstellar at the cinema EIGHT times within a month when it was showing. Mixture of IMAX and normal theatres :D

Teach: Depends on what you want to/can learn from me =D
Learn: Depends on what I can learn from you
Share: I can share my time because I really like talking to and learning about people
