ABOUT ME

I am a Computer Engineering student at Dartmouth College, U.S.. I am originally from Shanghai, China. Before I came to U.S., I spent a gap year working and traveling around southwest of China. I have been to 42 cities, towns and villages in my gap year. I also worked and lived 3 months in a hostel located by Lugu Lake, Yunnan, which is a matriarchal community.

I have been to China, Japan, France, United States, Switzerland and Rwanda. I taught entrepreneurship and business in Rwanda, Africa in this past winter break.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know why I came to this world. I don't want to know. I just want to have as many as possibilities in my life and stretch my arms as farther as I can to hug this world. Be brave and be grateful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Took a gap year.
2. Witnessed the pink snow mountain in Chamonix, France.
3. Yelled at the top of a beacon tower at the Great Wall.
4. Travelled around USA by trains.
5. Riding my bike to Tibet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a diverse culture background. I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I have some French family. I went to U.S. to pursue my college degree.

I know a lot about Chinese history and Chinese culture. I am willing to teach Chinese or cook some Chinese food. I am a big bike lover and a super basketball lover. I am willing to play a pick-up game and ride bike at anytime.

I am a potential computer science major student. I enjoy the feeling of solving problems and analyzing things. Meanwhile, I love fine arts and history.

Sometimes I am really outgoing and can be the loudest guy in a party. But sometimes I would like to play guitar in my room alone and sing to myself.

I am trying to find balances between on-the-road and in-the- society, between playing hard and working hard, between spirituality and reality, between having fun and making money, between sharing funny moments with others and contemplating on my own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Chinese cultures and speaking Chinese, biking and playing basketball together, all the road stories I had.
