About Me

CURRENT MISSION
In Houston for a few days, then in Australia for a few months helping a friend with a project that I don't feel like dealing with. I guess that means that my current mission, beside that literal one, is working on my attitude towards this project, and the associated time that it will be consuming in my life.
ABOUT ME
This is never fun. What do I write about myself? Actually, take a look at my interests. That will tell you quite a bit.

Additionally, I'm a tidy, well-mannered, helpful, quiet guy who gets along well with most anybody. Enjoy the occasional drink at a bar, but prefer to spend my time with coffee, a book, a pad and pen, or a laptop, quietly. I also love just wandering around new places, or old places, with or without my camera. I like alone time and togetherness time. And I like to eat vegetables and rice a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

"I've lived out my melancholy youth. I don't give a fuck anymore what's behind me, or what's ahead of me. I'm healthy. Incurably healthy. No sorrows, no regrets. No past, no future. The present is enough for me. Day by day. Today!" -H. Miller

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is lovely. Great way to meet new people and get the lay of the land, so to speak, of a new place. Great way to save some money if you're on a budget too.

Myself, I'm here because… I dunno. It seems so obvious. As a host you get to help someone out, meet someone you wouldn't otherwise, share stories, what have you. As a surfer you're being helped out, which can often times be invaluable, and you get to save money for other bits of your travels, and again, meeting people.
