ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in honolulu, Hawaii. I am an iOS developer with a strong focus on local food systems and organic waste management. Sustainable living and learning has been my passion for many years. I am a vacation rental property manager, so it is my job to leave places nicer than I find them. I am a very respectful and agreeable guest. I love learning about and practicing primitive skills and wilderness awareness.

Making stuff and doing things. I love to spend time leatherworking, reading, hiking, culturing foods, fixing things, building gardens, planting seeds, practicing primitive skills, fixing bicycles, learning new things like beekeeping and computer programming.

Study yoga and photography in india. took the risk to save a friends life and succeeded. hitch hiked and hopped trains around mexico. build gardens, make change and growth happen before your eyes in the soil and land. lived in a wilderness valley for 4 years in remote hawaii where access was only by boat or helicopter. I lived in a military tent, designed-salvaged-and-built a cabin myself with sustainable materials, hunted/gathered/grew most of my food, hauled my water, installed solar power, canned foods, truly hacked it.
