About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I've decided that my life is so interesting that I should give everyone the opportunity to read about it in this section. Just kidding. If you really want to know about me you'll have to buy my memoir for three easy payments of $14.27 (plus shipping and handling).

Interests

Hmm...adventures, bikes, good-bad book clubs, climbing things, crushes, dumpster diving, food not bombs, hipster dance parties, peter pan complexes, pirate caves, the power of snail mail, shower-baths, cutting out magazine pictures of celebrities and then framing them. Just kidding. No, seriously, I love lead-based paint and long walks in Milwaukee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'm pretty passionate about One Hundred Years of Solitude. I love that book. I also like Wuthering Heights, Watership Down, Slaughterhouse-Five, The Picture of Dorian Grey, Middlesex (controversy over terminology aside), The Little Prince, I Have the Right to Destroy Myself, and Feed. Of course, children's books are great as well. In fact, could you write the title of your favorite childhood book into the subject line in all messages? Also, please make sure your profile is complete with a few pictures. Otherwise I will not respond.

Music: Honestly, I like most music. I could go on and write an extensive list of every band I like, but that's seems boring. If your life isn't complete without this knowledge, let me know and I'll tell you.

Movies: The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, Brick, Dancer in the Dark, Delicatessen, Dreamland, The Edukators, Factory Girl, Heights, Happy-Go-Lucky, Kontroll, L'Enfant, Me You and Everyone We Know, Princess Protection Program, Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, Rivers and Tides, Turtles Can Fly, Yes, Wizard People Dear Reader, and 3-Iron.

Television: TV is okay. I prefer intellectual programs like "Real Housewives of New Jersey". These shows really raise our cultural standards and promote thoughtful discussions about interpersonal relationships and the human experience.
